On request we can organize the following activities:
1) Workshop Italian folksong for adults
Try out your own voice together with others in a celebration song, a worksong or in a lovesong.
2) Music workshop for children (6-10 years)
By means of rhythmic gadgets and folkdance the children can learn to sing simple traditional Italian songs, accompanied with live music.
3 Dance workshop Pizzica
Learn the basic steps of this passionate south Italian dance with live musical accompaniment.
Fussi ‘nfatata
Two Italian and two Dutch musicians meet to play their own versions of traditional music from Sicily, Campania en Puglia.
Old mediterranean dances, magical celtic melodies, mediaeval Sicilian texts, blues ..... all mixed in a catchy concert for festival and theatre. Songs about the evil eye, the beauty of the Italian landscape, lover’s rendez-vous under an olive tree and about the naughty saint Santu Paulu.......
